Cancer increases

According to studies from the World Cancer Research Fund and the AICR, specific vitamins may prevent specific kinds of cancers.  But it is not enough to get vitamins alone.  By the AICR’s suggestion, people eat enough fruits and vegetables to not only lower risk of disease but also get more “synergy of compounds” which offer the best protection.

 

Digestive problems, gain weight

What foods may have zero-calorie to lost weight?  According to nutritionist Dr. Lisa Young, these foods generally fall into one of two categories: non-starchy fruits or vegetables.  There are some fruits and vegetable to provide.  Such as, cucumbers, tomatoes and lettuce…, etc.

Cucumbers may contain 16 calories per serving and peel and seeds of themes provide both fiber and a form of vitamin A known as beta-carotene, which is known to be good for your eyes.  Tomatoes with high in vitamins A, C, and B2, folate, chromium, potassium, and fiber may contain lycopene, a carotenoid, which helps fight against chronic diseases and also gives the fruit its red color.  Lettuce may only have about 10 to 20 calories per serving and add plenty of vitamins and nutrients like folate, iron, and vitamins A and C.

 

Headed for depression

There’s a research, eating fruits and vegetables slashes people’s risk of depression more than 10%.  Also other research, those who eat a typical Western diet, which is rich in processed foods and sugar, are more at risk of suffering depression.  People eat fresh fruits and vegetables may improve theirs mental health, their moods, getting more energy and helping to think clearly.

 

Diabetes

According to new research, eating a few extra servings of healthy fruits and/or vegetables each day and slightly reducing meats (animal foods) and dairy products can significantly lower your risk of Type 2 diabetes.  A research shows that adults who ate a plant-based diet with few animal products cut their risk of Type 2 diabetes by 20 percent.  But they found that diabetes risk dropped by 34 percent among the healthful plant-based eaters.
