According to the CNN’s report, there is a farm hiding deep in the bomb shelter under London.

Built in an abandoned World War II air raid shelter, the unusual facility instead produces "micro greens"-- herbs and salad veggies destined for the city's restaurants.

Located on the rooftop of *SCAPE, a shopping centre in the heart of Orchard Road, the farm now provides fresh produce to establishments that include the Shangri-La and Raffles hotels.

Harvest Urban Farms supplies their produce to restaurants and markets within a 10 kilometer radius of the farm.

"Vancouver still gets a lot of its food in the wintertime from California, and part of what we're trying to do is eliminate that," Aaron Ferguson the owner said.

With property values climbing ever higher in the big city of the world, conventional farming has long since been priced out of the city's center.Firstly, the big city is quite resource-constrained, including the space. Secondly, the air pollution, soil pollution…etc. is getting worse. Thirdly, people don't really have a lot of knowledge about ground farming.
